Assistant Environmental Consultant- Glasgow

My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for an Assistant Environmental Consultant to join a friendly and supportive team in Glasgow.

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Environmental, Hydrology, Oceanography or Coastal Engineering and have experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing Environmental Impact Assessments or Peat Restoration or Hydrological Assessments or Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team in Glasgow to complete varied Environmental, Hydrological, Surface Water, Environmental Projects for greenfield, industrial, commercial and renewable energy projects.

You will also be required to complete;

-Environmental Impact Assessments.

-ES Statements.

-Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.

-Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.

-Hydrological Assessments.

-Drainage Strategies.

-Water Quality Assessments.

-Peat Restoration.

-River Restoration Schemes.

-GIS Mapping.
