Job title: Assistant Ecologist

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000

Location: Surrey

We are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join an Ecological Consultancy in Surrey. If you are an Assistant Ecologist already, or have ecology experience and want to work for a friendly, supportive and professional company then this is for you.

The Assistant Ecologist position can offer a salary of £24,000 - £27,000 depending on your experience, Hybrid Working (3 days in the office in Surrey per week), variety of projects, career progression, professional training and more.

You main duties as an Assistant Ecologist will be to work alongside the rest of the Ecology team, conducting protected species surveys for bats, great crested newts, reptiles and dormice. You will also be writing a variety of ecological reports, of which training will be provided as needed. This is the ideal position to gain valuable experience at the beginning of your career.

To be considered for the Assistant Ecologist position, you will need access to your own car, hold a relevant degree, have ecological consultancy experience and ideally hold a membership with CIEEM.
