Assistant Cook - The Downs Primary School and Nursery

ASSISTANT COOK REQUIRED AT THE DOWNS PRIMARY REQUIRED ASAP

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Cook to lead with the preparation, service of food and cleaning of premises / equipment. All applicants must be able to work in a busy ever-changing environment, work well under pressure and have a good sense of humour.

Experience of working in a school environment and a Food Hygiene level 2 qualification would be an advantage however full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

25 hours per week (Monday - Friday) - days and times to be confirmed at interview

39 working weeks (44.7 paid weeks)

Salary: Scale 3 point 5 - £14,011.76 pro rata per annum (including fringe allowance)

Fixed Term Contract: To cover long term sickness
