The Assistant CDM Consultant / Principal Designer role

In this multifaceted position, the Assistant Principal Designer / CDM Consultant will:

• Provide comprehensive CDM consultancy services across various projects, ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
• Work closely with clients and project teams to integrate CDM principles and Building Safety Act requirements from the design phase through to project completion.
• Manage a diverse workload, balancing time between client sites, the Epsom office, and home working, ensuring flexibility and effective diary management.
• Participate in business development activities, helping to expand the consultancy's presence across the South of England.

The Assistant CDM Consultant / Principal Designer

• Possesses a robust understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and a keen awareness of the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations.
• Demonstrates a strong background in design or construction, complemented by a commitment to health and safety excellence.
• Holds relevant qualifications, such as NEBOSH Construction Certificate, and is working towards or already has IOSH or APS membership.
• Exhibits excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively across all levels.
