Job Description:

Our client, a reputable Block Management company based in North London, is seeking a dedicated and organised Assistant Block Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will assist in the management and administration of residential properties within the block management portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of residential properties including maintenance, repairs and service charge administration.
  • Liaise with property owners, tenants, contractors and relevant authorities to ensure smooth operation of managed properties.
  • Assist in conducting regular property inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Handle enquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial reports, and service charge accounts.
  • Support the Block Manager in various administrative tasks and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property management, ideally within block management.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to property management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and property management software.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
