Our client is looking for an Assistant Acoustic Consultant to join one of the largest independent consultancies. The firm have been established for over 50 years and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects ranging from skyscrapers, art buildings, TV & music studios, luxury hotels, and many more.

Assistant Acoustic Consultant Requirements:

  • Relevant degree AMIOA/MIOA and/or the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control
  • Experience/Interest in working with sound in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of Standards, Codes of Practice, and Legislation
  • Computer literate
  • Full driving license
  • Relevant experience in a similar role (Desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Technical minded with excellent maths skills

Assistant Acoustic Consultant Duties:

  • Conduct site visits for noise and vibration surveys
  • Attend construction site visits for acoustic testing
  • Undertake calculations
  • Complete technical reports
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
