 We are currently looking to recruit an AAT Qualified/ACCA part qualified individual to join a successful, busy and well-established firm in the heart of Ashford. We have been established for over 20 years and work with over 1500 clients over a variety of sectors. The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and possess excellent bookkeeping and vat skills.

This is a key role within a diverse, friendly and initiative- taking team. We are seeking a candidate who has excellent organisational skills, a proactive and methodical approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and reports for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Assist with tax computations and returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Support senior accountants with assignments.
  • Manage bookkeeping and monthly reconciliation tasks.
  • Provide clients with financial advice and insights.
  • Stay updated with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.

The successful candidate should posses:

  • Excellent communication skills and fully proficient in MS office packages as well as QuickBooks and Xero
  • Ability to work as part of a team 
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately 
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to work to deadlines 
  • Iris accounts production would be advantageous for this role
