Assistant Accountant

Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

We are currently working with an established business based in Weston-Super-Mare who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is fully office-based with free on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities for this Assistant Accountant role:

• Assist with monthly management accounts preparation
• Produce standard business performance reports
• Assist with budgeting & forecasting
• Posting journals
• Ledger reconciliations

Requirements for this Assistant Accountant role:

• Working towards AAT or qualified-by-experience
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Intermediate Excel skills (LOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables)

In exchange for this Assistant Accountant role you will receive:

• Starting salary of £27,000
• 23 days annual leave + bank holidays, expanding to 27 days over 5 years
