Assistant Accountant

Are you a commercially focused aspiring accountant, who is looking for a fantastic business where you will be given training and development opportunities?? Look no further!! This is a rare opportunity to join the finance team of a growing and extremely well established business based in Rotherham.

This role will be extremely varied, but will include:

• supporting with monthly financial statements
• month end journals and prepayments
• bank reconciliations
• cashflow reporting and forecasting
• supporting with audits
• managing car fleet and insurance
• expense management

This business is looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn, as well as the following experience and attributes:

• some accounting exposure (ideally an understanding of the basics)
• willingness to learn and develop
• able to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• system savvy with exposure to accounting systems, ideally with Excel skills
• strong team player and communicator
