Assistant Accountant | Luxury Beauty & Leisure brand | £32,000 - £34,000 + Study support | Hybrid in Central London

The Company:

JasperRose is working with a luxury beauty and leisure brand based in Central London who due to mass growth are looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role with ample opportunity to grow alongside the company and develop into a senior accountant. They are based in Central London with excellent transport links and are in the office three days per week (but work remotely during month end!).

The role:

This role will look over two of their major brands and will be a supportive function to two Management Accountants in the business. You will be responsible for transactional finance duties alongside month end reporting and stock control.

Key duties include:

• Sales and purchase ledger duties
• Bank reconciliations
• Responsibility for stock control
• Month end duties including accruals, prepayments and journals
• Responsibility for fixed assets
• Assisting with payroll
• Adhoc reporting

The successful candidate:

You must have experience of transactional finance duties including reconciliations and conversations with suppliers. It'd be beneficial if you had prior experience of stock control and at least a theoretical knowledge of month end duties. Ideally you will also be studying towards an accountancy qualification including AAT, ACCA/CIMA.
