Assistant Accountant
Alexander Daniels are working with a well-established company in Wednesbury who are looking to hire an Assistant Accountant on a full-time basis. Reporting into the Financial Accountant, the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will assist with the following tasks:
- Post accruals, prepayments, and journals accurately and in a timely manner.
- Bank and statement reconciliation.
- Assist with the preparation of daily cash reports.
- Work with the team to review the Profit and Loss statement and prepare monthly management accounts.
- Assist the wider team and the accounts payable team with other duties.
- Complete other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Accountant.
The ideal candidate will be studying towards or have completed an AAT qualification, and will be aiming to study further towards ACCA, ACA, or equivalent. The successful candidate will have experience in a fast-paced finance department and have strong problem-solving skills.
