Looking for an exceptional career opportunity in Finance? Join our client, a fantastic business based in Exeter as their Assistant Accountant. You'll have the chance to play a lead role in the financial operations of this high-growth group and work closely with the Finance Manager and key stakeholders across the business. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements accurately.
• Assist in budget development and monitoring for business growth.
• Creating monthly management accounts and providing insights.
• Manage purchase ledger.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Bank account reconciliations.
• Payroll preparation and compliance.
• Assist in the annual audit process.
  
  

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• AAT Qualified or Part Qualified.
• Previous experience in a similar company accountant role.
• Proficient in bookkeeping and management accounts.
