Assistant Accountant

An exciting organisation has recently approached Mitchell Adam to assist with their search for a fantastic Assistant Accountant. This organisation is based in the exciting and vibrant Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, just a short walk from Snowhill and New Street Stations and offer on site parking so are easily accessible by car. The organisation are looking for an individual who is hungry to progress in their career, an individual who has strong aspirations to becoming chartered and has already completed a portion of their ACCA or CIMA examinations. The Assistant Accountant role will see you working closely with the Finance Manager and Finance Director, as you take on senior responsibilities and continue to complete month end activities and even produce management accounts.

• To be currently studying your ACCA or CIMA, and to have already passed some of your examinations.
• To be aspirational and productive. This role will provide fantastic opportunities for you to grow and take on senior responsibilities, such as leading with budgeting and forecasting and business partnering, but it will take an individual to take the reigns to reach this level of seniority.
• To have experience completing month end tasks such as reconciliations, analysis and posting journal's.
• To be confident and outgoing, the organisation are looking for a charismatic individual as the company have lots of social trips including visits to their sister branches in Glasgow and London.
