REED are Exclusively working in partnership with a leading global consultancy business with over 100 years of design and engineering expertise to recruit a Permanent, Fully REMOTE Assistant Accountant.

This is a unique opportunity for a Part Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA Accountant to join a UK based entity under the supervision of the Financial Controller and working alongside a team of two Financial Accountants. The main activities concern preparation of reconciling the inter-company balances, SSF management accounts, IFRS 16 lease accounting and preparing for a new company wide ERP

Assistant Accountant

Part Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (Study support offered towards completion)

Fully Remote working (one day a month social meeting in Worchester)

Salary (Dependant of experience £30,000 - £35,000) per annum (Perm position)

Duties:

• Review and enter exchange rates and project rates into JDE
• Completion of monthly continuity and enrichment schedules in FCCS
• Completion of forms for the Office of National Statistics
• Analysis and submission of related party transactions for parent company
• Reconciliation of intercompany balances using BlackLine
• Raising payment requests for intercompany payments
• Coding of internal bond recharges from Corporate
• Preparation of journals
• Assist with the quarterly inter-company reconciliation process and feedback to Group companies (over 80 overseas entities)
• Assisting with annual transfer pricing invoices
• Assistance with the preparation of annual corporation tax packs for 15 statutory companies
• Liaising with intercompany contacts to resolve invoicing queries and ensure timely payments
• Providing data to auditors via Deloitte Connect

Requirements:

• Part-qualified in a recognised professional accountancy qualification
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including use and set-up of Pivot tables and formulas
• Experience of an accounting software package (The company are going through a Finance Transformation Project to Oracle
• Experience of Reconciliations, Journals and Dealing with large amounts of Data (Different currencies)
