Compass Corporate services are proud to be working with a high-quality Mental Health Care Provider to recruit an Assistant Accountant based in Chorley, Manchester. Our client provides high-quality mental health rehabilitation and learning disability services across Lancashire, Yorkshire and beyond. Over the past 20 years, they have built an outstanding reputation for supporting those with complex and enduring mental health needs and learning disabilities. ?Following a period of rapid development and continued expansion, they are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a growing team.

The Role
The Assistant Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations within a growing business. Reporting directly to the Finance Business Partner, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing monthly management accounts, analysing financial data, supporting teams across the business and ensuring adherence to budgetary controls.

Requirements
AAT Level 3 or above, or qualified by experience
Experience in the healthcare sector
Good working knowledge of Xero
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel - formulae, data analysis, lookups, pivot tables and conditional formatting
Ability to work accurately whilst under pressure.

Location
The role is full time on site based In Chorley, Manchester.
