Fin Search are recruiting an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis for a well established, well performing retail business based in Bradford.

This role is an unrivalled opportunity for bright and forward thinking assistant accountant looking for a step in to a commercially focused role relevant to AAT/CIMA/ACCA studies with a clear progression route.

The organisation is operating a hybrid working model on a permanent basis with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.

As an Assistant, you will be reporting in to a ACCA qualified Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with month end processes and controls. Duties will include, however are not limited to, balance sheet reconciliations, assisting internal stakeholders with forecasting, producing month end journals such as accruals and prepayments and assisting with variance analysis and profitability analysis.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT or have exemptions
  • Have worked in a relevant finance role previously
  • Have strong Excel skills
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
