Our client is an international operation, owning and operating some of the largest Battery Energy Storage Systems in the world. They need an Asset Manager for their UK opertation in Mayfair.

The Asset Manager is responsible for managing the processes required to operate a safe and successful battery energy storage site. They will manage all scheduled and reactive maintenance. They will interface with manufacturers and contractors for ongoing technical support, warranty management and defect resolution. They will be responsible for the collection and interpretation of system data for advanced asset health monitoring, maximising asset performance and reporting to all stakeholders. They will own the operational budget for the site and will coordinate with the optimiser and financial department to ensure that operational and technical considerations are part of trading strategy and financial forecasting. They will coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure coordinated operation.
They must be passionate about the energy transformation and proud of their work. Being an Asset Manager means that you are responsible for one of our continuously operating sites, a critical piece of national infrastructure.
The role will be office based with regular visits to the project sites, dependent on the project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
· Manage scheduled and reactive maintenance through the contract with the operation and maintenance contractor.
· Develop maintenance schedules and methodologies.
· Design and maintain data exchange systems.
· Ensure that all works are recorded with precision.
· Ensure compliance with warranty conditions.
· Manage warranty claims.
· Manage lessons learned and continual improvement processes.
· Maintain documentation for the site and operational activities.

Qualifications and experience
· Degree level or equivalent technical qualification (electrical, mechanical, gas, oil all considered).
· 3 years' experience in an asset management or engineering quality position.
- Full UK Driving Licence

Key Skills
· Excels at developing deep understanding of complex systems.
· Good at managing and handling large amounts of data.
· Excellent auditing skills.
· Highly organized and disciplined.

O&M experience with electrical bias
Could be Solar, or Battery or Wind (onshore or offshore)
probably (but not essential) a SCADA person
HNC as a minimum
Needs to be one day a week at site (So south east England / Kent way), and over time will be once a month
Will be someone who deals with audits (or the response to audit protocols) - that isn't essential but nice to have.

Would suit a Asset Engineer, an Operations & Maintenance Engineer, Operations Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer

This role is fully in the office or on site
