Position: Assessment Coordinator

Contract Type: Permanent

Yearly Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per year

Working Pattern: Full Time 8:45am- 5:45 pm. Up to 3 times a month, you will need to be available to work until 8pm

Office Based position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule all assessment activities ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all assessments and related processes
  • Chasing outstanding documents
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to carers throughout the assessment phase
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies involved in the fostering process
  • Minute panel meetings to ensure summaries are accurate

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in the social care sector is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Location:

This role is based in Dartford with excellent transport links. Parking is also available.
