Assessment and Staying Together Team - West Midlands - 1 Day in the Office

A new Hybrid Social Worker opportunity that has recently become available for a Assessment and Staying Together team in the West Midlands.

This is a great opportunity for any social worker looking to work for a highly flexible authority that allows its social workers the freedom to work in the manner that suits them best!

Here is some information on the role:

  • Highly flexible hybrid environment only requiring you in the office 1 day/week
  • Take cases following assessment - work focuses around CIN/CP and Care Proceedings through to Final Order - majority of cases tend to be CIN
  • Cases generally involve Domestic Violence, Substance Misuse and Neglect - there is very little in the way of CSE/CCe
  • The team will consist of a Team Manager, 1 Senior Practitioner 5 Social Workers and a Family Practitioner who are able to support you with your work
  • Children's services operate a range of Family Hubs that are able to help support the children and families you work with by giving them access to valuable resources
  • Supportive environment where social workers are encouraged to share their ideas across the team so that they can be confident in your cases.
