Assembly Technician Perm & Temp

Gearbox Assembler / Warwick / Up to £36,000 per annum

Join a leading engineering organisation in the assembly of low volume, high-value driveline systems.
As a Gearbox Assembler, you'll assemble complex, high-precision mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems. You'll work as part of a team to achieve objectives, communicate effectively with customers, and solve problems logically.

Location / Hours:

You'll be based close to Warwick, 5 days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be close via public transport links. Free parking available.

Mon - Thur (7:00 - 3:30), Friday (7:00 - 12:30)

Geabox Assembler Responsibilities

• Working with accuracy to complex engineering drawings
• Following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Using a variety of handheld tools for assembly
• Testing and inspecting the quality of your own work and performing quality checks
• Use Microsoft Excel to track work completed

Gearbox Assembler Requirements

• Experience in complex mechanical assembly
• Must be able to read engineering drawings to a high level
• Experienced with mechanical hand tools (Torques, Spanners, Hammers etc)
• Aptitude for precision measurement and manual measurement equipment.
• Intermediate PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
