Assembly Operator - Days Only

This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of GEM Partnership, which are operating as a recruitment business.

GEM Partnership is working in partnership with a growing business based 10 minutes away from Newcastle city centre and are looking to increase their existing team with two assemby operators.

Reporting directly to your manager, as an Assembly Operative you will be a vital member of the production team, based in their workshop onsite in Byker.

You will be required to;

• Perform a range of assembly tasks using hand tools and soldering, whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency.

• Follow standard operation guides whilst using air powered tools to assist in the assembly of outdoor power products.

• Work in a production workshop environment, the role will involve periods of standing, with small elements of manual handling and computer work.

You should be;

• Flexible, have a positive attitude, and be able to quickly adapt to change.

Shift pattern: Dayshift 8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
