We are recruiting for a manufacturing operatives to join our clients busy team, this role would suit someone looking to continue to develop a career in manufacturing or keen to take first steps into a manufacturing role and happy to take on further training to learn how to assembly cables and harnesses and undertake light electrical assembly. (* candidates must have some background / education or experience within manufacturing be that gain in study or ad hoc temporary work) 

Key requirements 

•              Good hand skills and eyesight

•              Understanding of relevant  procedures, engineering drawings and product codes - desireable as training given 

•              Experience of using hand tools (crimp tools, wire strippers) 

•              Experience of soldering, cable preparation and crimping (desireable) 

•              IPC/WHMA-A-620 Training on Acceptability of Cable & Wire Harnesses - deireable 

This role would suit candidates who have worked within manufacturing roles previously, who are comfortable areound light electronics assembly and work requiring close inspection of parts. 

This role would suit someone who wants to work in a world class manufacturing business and is keen to learn new skills, candidates with experience of pick and place or any SMT environment would also be of interest
