Assembly Operative

Are you looking for a new opportunity as an Assembly Operative? Our client, located on the outskirts of Ashford, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team.

• This is a temporary-to-permanent position with a competitive pay rate of £11.93 per hour.
• Working full-time hours from Monday to Thursday (8am-5:45pm) and finishing at 4:15pm on Fridays.

As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling wooden garden fencing, fence panels, garden gates, entrance gates and more. This role will involve a significant amount of manual handling and heavy lifting. You will utilise handheld tools, machinery and guns to effectively assemble the products.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have experience in manual and physical roles, with previous exposure to assembly, production, woodwork, or labouring being beneficial. Experience in using hand tools will also be advantageous. Safety boots and hi-vis attire will be required for this role.
