Assembly Engineer

Based in the Wirral working for an award winning internatiional design and manufacturing business.

  • An Assembly Engineer to create and maintain manufacturing instructions, SOP’s, techniques sheets and work instructions for the assembly of composite components to associated specifications and best practices.
  • Identify tooling requirements and manage the design, supply and commissioning of tooling and associated shop floor equipment.
  • Assist with the resolution of day-to-day manufacturing problems/issues.
  • Support lean/improvement projects.
  • Raise and co-ordinate customer/supplier query notes (EQN, WQN, TLQ etc.).
  • Play an integral part of NPI project teams, including reporting of progress to plans.
  • Internal liaison with other manufacturing divisions and departments.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Customer/Supplier interface on specific projects.
