We are currently seeking a skilled Assembler / Solderer to join our team in Waterlooville. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and soldering various electromechanical products, based on provided drawings and wiring diagrams.

Working Hours: 07:30 -16:00 Monday to Thursday & 07:30 - 13:00 Friday (37 hours per week - £12.50 per hour)

Duration: This role is for a temporary full-time position (could lead to longer-term / permanent position in the future).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Assembling electromechanical products according to specifications.
  • Soldering components accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to ISO9001 requirements.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in assembly within an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in wiring and soldering techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams effectively.
  • Familiarity with working in an ISO9001 certified environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and soldering skills.
  • Must have own transport
