LTF Recruitment are searching for a patient and attentive SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a two-form entry Ofsted 'Good' rated school.

The role is working with two children with ASD and speech and language delay in Year One, providing consistent child specific support towards targets from an EHCP. The aim of the role is to help improve development of the children's communication using visual communication aids, supporting in sensory circuits. The role is offered on a long-term basis with potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.

Who we are looking for:

  • Will have relevant SEND/ASD experience.
  • Have experience working with Nonverbal children, have training or experience of Makaton or Pecs.
  • Have experience working 1:1 or on 2:1 basis.
  • Be nurturing, caring & patient.
  • Have knowledge of the Key Stage One Curriculum
  • Level 3 or relevant qualification required.
  • Hold a clean driving license
