Job Title: Asbestos Trainer.
Location: Bristol, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £28k - £40k + Benefits
Our client is a leading Asbestos Consultancy who provide the full range of asbestos management and asbestos training services across the South West. They are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Trainer to join their team in the South West region. The successful candidate will be delivering asbestos training courses to a mix of internal and external clients. This role would suit a candidate who has experience working within a hands-on role within the Asbestos Industry, who is looking to come away from site work and use their knowledge and experience in another area. Our client can offer further training into NEBOSH qualifications, excellent holiday allowance, company pension scheme and competitive basic salary.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bath, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet, Weston-Super-Mare, Shaftesbury, Yeovil, Ilminster, Taunton, Minehead, Bridgwater, Chippenham, Malbrough, Devizes, Warminster, Andover, Swindon, Chippenham, Cirencester, Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have a background working within an Asbestos Removal Company or Asbestos Consultancy.
" Will have confidence to deliver training courses and provide in depth information.
" Holding BOHS modules P402, P403, P404, W504 and / or P405 qualification will be beneficial to the role.
" Holding a Health and Safety NEBOSH qualification would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
" Will ideally hold a recognised training qualification.
" Excellent IT skills.
" Ability to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels.
The Role:
" Delivering in-depth and engaging asbestos training courses including licenced & non licenced removal courses, UKATA Asbestos awareness and duty to manage.
" Providing training and coaching to internal employees.
" Undertaking auditing on new trainers.
" Improving delivery of courses, ensuring they are up to date with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Designing and planning new courses in line with client and company needs.
" Using technical knowledge and site experience to develop existing courses.
" Liaising with clients routinely, ensuring to maintain and build relationships.
" Upselling training courses to new and existing clients.
