Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Dudley, West Midlands
Salary / Benefit: 24k - 36k DOE + Company Vehicle + Training
Established West Midlands Asbestos Consultancy currently has a vacancy for a professional and polished asbestos surveyor. The successful candidate will be joining an established team of site staff and will be delivering high-end asbestos management services to longstanding clients. For the right candidate, the client can offer training into other environmental sectors, as well as support in gaining further asbestos qualifications.
Applications will be considered from: Birmingham, Burton upon Trent, Cannock, Coventry, Derby, Kettering, Leicester, Loughborough, Northampton, Nottingham, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Tamworth, Telford, Wolverhampton.
Experience / Qualifications:
- BOHS P402.
- Minimum of 6 months site experience.
- Keenness to develop within the asbestos industry.
- Full driving license and happy to travel as part of the role.
- Friendly and able to work well within a team.
Role:
- Travelling across the West Midland region; undertaking management, demolition & refurbishment asbestos surveys.
- Working across a mixed portfolio of sites including domestic, local authority, commercial and industrial.
- Carrying asbestos bulk sampling.
- Producing asbestos reports following site visits.
- Working to HSG 264 guidelines.
- Liaising with lead consultants, management and clients regarding works conducted.
- Representing the business in a professional manner at all times.
