Asbestos Surveyor - £30,000 - £35,000 - Luton, Bedfordshire

Our client, a well-established UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who have over 25 years trading experience and deliver full Asbestos solutions which include Asbestos Surveys, Bulk Sampling, Asbestos Removals Project Management and Constancy services to a wide range of clients within the public and private sector. Due to a large contract win in the Bedfordshire area, our client are looking to recruit a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their close-knit team.

Essential Requirements:

• BOHS P402/RSPH3 qualified with experience in carrying out R+D surveys on residential and commercial premises
• Minimum of 2 years field experience in asbestos surveying
• Full UK driving license
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent working knowledge of the health and safety legislation relating to asbestos

Key Duties/Responsibilities of an Asbestos Surveyor:

• Carrying out all aspects of asbestos surveying and inspection
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with all asbestos relevant legislation
• Ensure all work is carried out is in line with HSG: 264
• Producing asbestos survey reports and drawings through TEAMS software
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients through professional communication and appearance
• Liaise with clients, management, colleagues and external staff on a daily basis

On offer, is a salary between £30,000 - £35,000 (dependant on experience), along with a company vehicle, fuel card, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company contribution pension, company bonus and the opportunity to develop your skill-set through completing additional qualifications!
