Job Title: Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager.
Location: Maidstone, Kent.
Salary / Benefits £35k - £65k + Benefits + OTE
Established Removal Contractor offering turn key solutions to Housing, Education and Commercial clients; well recognised in the industry for their long standing team of both management and site operatives, and client focused service. Now seeking an experienced Removals Contracts Manager to take on lucrative projects across the South East, as well as keeping a hand in the pricing and scoping of new works. The client in return can offer excellent work life balance with regionally based projects, company car or car allowance and other attractive benefits. Consideration will also be given to Lead Asbestos Supervisors with a long term work history, looking for a step up.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Ashford, Ramsgate, Herne Bay, Margate, Gillingham, Tonbridge, Canterbury, Chatham, Dartford, Croydon, Epsom, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Woking, Guildford, Bracknell.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have strong management, leadership, and technical skills.
" Will hold previous experience working as an Asbestos Contracts Manager or Lead Supervisor.
" Will ideally hold ARCA Contract Managers ticket.
" In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety legislations.
" Excellent IT skills.
" Good time management skills.
" Excellent communication skills via phone, email and face-to-face.
The Role:
" Independently managing Asbestos Removal works for key local authority and larger healthcare, retail and leisure clients.
" Attending initial site surveys to price and scope for new projects.
" Producing bespoke quotations and sending to clients.
" Overseeing a large team of Supervisors and Operatives and accurately allocating work.
" Creating accurate and site-specific RAMS.
" Liaising with external contractors and negotiating prices for plant equipment, off hire and waste disposal.
" Carrying out site audits.
" Attending client start up and review meetings.
" Ensuring works run to budget and agreed timescale.
" Partaking in the recruitment of Operatives and carrying out site inductions and training.
" Submission of ASB5's and HSE notifications.
" Routinely liaising with site supervisors to ensure RAM compliance.
" Ensuring to maintain excellent professional relationships with clients, providing support and advice where required.
" Producing monthly management reports.
