Job Profile for Artworker - Cardboard Packaging - MC269733

Artworker required for a packaging manufacturer (corrugated) based in Newmarket. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have design or engineering qualifications with experience in packaging.

Artworker - Cardboard Packaging - Packaging Position Overview
  • Upon receipt of a customers artwork brief, create a low resolution PDF file for approval, flagging any concerns with the customer
  • Ensure approvals received in a timely manner to allow files and/or printing plates to be available to production ready to run the job
  • Assist with and provide proactive advice to customers directly and via the sales team where necessary
  • Assist with troubleshooting when issue arise on the shop floor on printed jobs
Artworker - Cardboard Packaging - Packaging Position Requirements

Proficient in use of Adobe Illustrator, and experience of artworking for cardboard packaging is preferred.

Artworker - Cardboard Packaging - Packaging Position Remuneration
  • It would be a role based at Newmarket, 8.30-5.00pm - 40 hours a week.
  • Salary wise its dependent on experience but I have in mind somewhere between £30-£35k, + a production bonus scheme which yields up to 6%.
