Job Title: Art Handler - Bespoke Furniture & Fine Art

Location: Tottenham, London

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Are you passionate about art and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Art Handler to join our team in Tottenham. As an Art Handler, you will play a crucial role in the careful handling, sorting, and preparation of valuable artworks for delivery to clients such as the Beckhams and many more A list celebrities.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic art logistics team and contribute to the safe transportation of precious artworks worth tens of thousands of pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Artwork Handling: Safely handle and transport artworks of various sizes, ensuring the utmost care and attention to detail.
  • Packing and Sorting: Responsible for the meticulous packing, sorting, and categorization of art pieces into designated boxes, ensuring their protection during transportation.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure artworks are properly packed, labelled, and ready for delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including drivers and logistics coordinators, to ensure seamless coordination in the preparation and loading of art shipments.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of handled artworks, including condition reports, inventory lists, and other relevant documentation.
  • Security: Adhere to security protocols to safeguard artworks from damage or theft during handling and transportation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Previous experience as an Art Handler or in a similar role within the art logistics industry is preferred.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move artworks of varying sizes and weights, as well as perform tasks that may involve standing or bending for extended periods.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to efficiently sort and pack artworks for delivery.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of art handling techniques and materials.
