Are you passionate about fostering creativity and inspiring young minds through the world of art? We're seeking a dynamic and innovative Art Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Sheffield starting September 2024!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves creatively.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students develop their artistic skills and techniques.
  • Organise art exhibitions, competitions, and other events to showcase student work and celebrate their achievements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across the curriculum and promote interdisciplinary learning experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching art at the secondary level preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and contemporary practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
