Reed Education are seeking an Art Teacher who is creative, enthusiastic, and committed to inspiring young minds. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to join our Art Department. Our partner school is dedicated to nurturing talent and providing a platform for students to express themselves through art, achieving outstanding results at both GCSE and A Level.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering imaginative and stimulating Art lessons across a range of mediums and techniques.
  • Encouraging students to explore their creativity and develop their own artistic style.
  • Preparing lesson plans, organising materials, and setting up displays that showcase student work.
  • Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and supporting students in preparing portfolios for examinations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to integrate art across the curriculum and contribute to school-wide events and projects.
  • Participating in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Achieved or working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating personal art practice and expertise.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Experience in teaching Art at secondary school level is desirable but not essential.
