An Art Teacher is needed in Mixed Secondary School in North London.

You will need to teach KS3 to KS5 Art lessons for this Art Teacher role.

This Art Teacher role will be full time and permanent.

If you are an experienced Art Teacher looking to progress your career, the school can offer a Lead Teacher of KS3 Art and DT.

Standard class teacher responsibilities apply for this Art Teacher position. This includes but isn't limited to planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending regular team meetings/parents evenings.

The rates of pay for this Art Teacher role will be between £170 to £260 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

The School

A 'Good' community Secondary School for pupils aged 11 to 16.

There is a diverse intake of pupils with 74% speaking English as an Additional Language.

Child Mental Health is of great importance at the school, and it is considered one of their defining qualities.

Many of the Primary schools in the area have strong ties to the school and the team works directly with them, to ease the transition for pupils in to Year 7.

Other partnerships of note are with Tottenham Hotspur FC, New River Teaching Alliance, CONEL, The London School of Economics, Apple and IntoUniversity.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified Art Teacher or experienced Art Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Art Teacher or overseas trained Art Teacher.

• Right to work in the UK
• UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• Experience of teaching as an Art Teacher in UK schools
