Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to the needs of students at various academic levels
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
  • Develop and implement art curricula based on national curriculum standards
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art with other subjects and create cross-curricular projects
  • Organize and oversee art displays and exhibitions to showcase students' work
  • Stay updated on current trends and techniques in the field of art education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching art in a primary/secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and various mediums
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their artistic talents
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Creativity and passion for art education
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
