Exciting Opportunity for a Qualified Art Teacher in Slough!
 
GSL Education are currently seeking a number of passionate and dedicated Art Teachers to join our client schools in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and nurture their creative talents in the fields of art and photography.
 
As an Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and teaching engaging art lessons following the national curriculum standards.
• Encouraging students to discover different art forms, techniques, and styles of photography.
• Creating a welcoming classroom where students feel encouraged to express themselves creatively and try new things.
• Evaluating student advancement, offering helpful feedback, and aiding in their growth.
• Working together with other teachers to improve the art and photography curriculum and extracurricular programs.
• Preparing students for exhibitions and showcasing their artistic and photographic talents.

 
Qualifications and Attributes:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Art.
• A thorough grasp of the art curriculum and successful teaching methods..
• Passion for art and the ability to inspire and engage students in meaningful creative projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Strong classroom management skills, creating an environment conducive to artistic and photographic exploration.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in art and photography education.

The role of Art Teacher requires a strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced child DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
