Art & Design Teacher

Timetable: Full Time


We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Art and Design Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time and long term position. To be successful you will be an Art Teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Job Description

  • Delivering engaging and creative Art lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.


Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in art & design or related field
  • Recent experience teaching Art and/or Textiles at secondary school level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
