Area to be covered: Scotland

Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + uncapped commission (1.5% of all sales) + annual bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Ventilation Products will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of ventilation products and systems
  • Focusing on social housing, local authorities and new build projects such as: office blocks, apartment blocks, hotels, student accommodation etc
  • 60% of your time will be focusing on generating specifications in social housing projects, building services consultants, M&E consultants, specifiers and housing developers
  • The remaining 40% of your time will spent selling into M&E contractors, main contractors ,sub-contractors, developers and builders
  • Majority of your time will be focused on generating new business relationships and getting more from neglected existing accounts
  • Taking over a underperforming territory, looking to grow the area to £1m in the next few years
  • Dealing with typical projects of around £50k - £500k depending on the size of the project

The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager - Ventilation Products with:

  • Must have HVAC product related experience for example: ventilation products, ventilation systems, ducting units, air handling units, air conditioning, extract fans, heat recovery units, boilers, radiators, fans, extractor fans, attenuation units,
  • Must have a demonstrable track record selling via social housing, local authorities, building services consultants, M&E consultants, housing developers, specifiers OR selling to M&E contractors, main contractor and sub-contractors
  • Ideally have contacts with M&E consultants, social housing specifiers, main contractors and sub-contractors
  • Must have strong technical knowledge and capabilities
  • Genuine hunger and desire to achieve
  • Dynamic 'go getter’ and not a 'plodder’
  • Results orientated, energetic
  • A team player who is highly organised
