Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Tile Adhesive

Area to be covered: London, South East & Anglia

Remuneration: £37,500-£42,500 Basic £65,000 OTE

Benefits: Fully expensed Hybrid Car & Full Benefits Package

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Tile Adhesive will involve:

• Field sales role selling a manufactured range of tile adhesives, tile grouts, building chemicals, wood treatments and decorating sundries
• Selling into the tiling, building and decorating trade
• Responsible for circa 200 accounts, typically independent retail accounts within tiling, flooring and building merchants (varies from small traders to larger stockists)
• Inheriting an area with a turnover of approx. £1m
• Tasked with growing the area by circa 20%
• Typically 40 customer visits per week
• Time will be split between managing/ growing existing accounts, visiting potential new accounts to "on-board" them and identifying new targets customers

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Tile Adhesive with:

• Ideally field sales experience from the tile industry
• Must have sold tiling, adhesives or associated products
• 2 years+ field sales experience as a minimum
• Ideally sold into independent retail accounts within tiling, flooring or builders merchants
• Persistent and likeable
• Technical ability/ knowledge preferred
• Customer focussed, personable character with excellent relationship building skills
• Ability to cold call to arrange meetings
• Must be IT literate
