Area to be covered: North (M62 corridor) & North Wales

Remuneration: £50,000-£55,000neg + up to 10% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating Products will involve:

• Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of HVAC products such as: plumbing products, piping systems, valves, underfloor heating and accessories
• Majority of your time will be spent selling to/ breaking specifications with M&E contractors, mechanical installers and sub-contractor plumbing and heating installers
• The remaining portion will be spent generating specification with M&E consultants and managing some new plumbing and heating merchant relationships
• Inheriting a well-established area currently turning over £1m
• Predominantly new business
• Typical projects predominantly high rise residential buildings, but also some healthcare and education projects - schools & housing

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating Products with:

• Must have field sales experience working for a KBB / HVAC manufacturer or distributor / merchant
• If you’re from a KBB background you must have knowledge of HVAC systems
• Must have public sector sales experience
• Ideally have underfloor heating knowledge (not essential)
• Preferably with contacts within plumbing & heating installers, mechanical contractors and M&E contractors
• High energy levels, enthusiasm and drive
• Reliable, autonomous and self-motivated
• Open to a variety of plumbing and heating & KBB field sales backgrounds such as; boilers, valves, controls, underfloor heating, heating systems, piping systems, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, cooling systems, air handling units, heat recovery units, fans etc.
• Must have strong technical knowledge and capabilities
