Job Title: Territory Sales Manager - Carpet & Vinyl Flooring

Area to be covered: IP, NR, PE, CB & parts of NG

Remuneration: £38,000 - £39,000 + uncapped commission giving OTE circa £55,000

Benefits: £4 per day tax free lunch allowance, fully expensed hybrid company car & full benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Carpet & Vinyl Flooring will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a manufactured range of flooring products such as: carpet & vinyl floor coverings and carpet tiles
  • All of your time will be selling into independent flooring retailers
  • Initially responsible for circa 150 customers
  • Revenue responsibility approx. £2.3m+
  • Visiting accounts on either a 4, 6 or 12 week call cycle
  • Account sizes will vary from £2,000 per annum up to £100,000+ turnover

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Carpet & Vinyl Flooring with:

  • Field sales experience with independent retail customers
  • Open to a flooring/ carpet retail showroom background, looking for first step into field sales for example a store manager at Carpetright, SCS and Tapa
  • Also open to a flooring field sales background without retail experience, such as experience of having sold into flooring contractors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Tenacious, driven and hungry
  • Ideally you will have a strong need to earn
