Job Title: Architectural Technician

Salary: competitive dependent on experience

A highly reputable RIBA Charted Practice whose extensive experience of over 40 years delivers cutting edge, technically expert designs across a diverse portfolio of projects including industrial and retail units, schools, offices and a specialist focus on residential. They invest heavily into their staff with a dedication to ensuring continual professional development and culture that drives excellences. Their friendly and supportive team of ten are looking to grow with an excellent outlook on projects promising to keep them busy. They are actively seeking a talented Architectural Technician to join the team in oxford.

The successful candidate will have extensive post qualification experience with hands on technical expertise, being proficient in AutoCAD and having proven experience working on site.

Responsibilities, experience, and skills for the role of Architectural Technician:

  • Relevant degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology or related subject
  • Workings towards MCIAT or already chartered
  • Substantial post qualification experience
  • Thorough knowledge of current building regulations
  • Hold technical excellence and have a keen eye for detail
  • Proven track record producing high quality technical drawings
  • Experience of design in the residential experience
  • You will have site-based experience
  • Be able to hit the ground running and work independently
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge across all RIBA work stages
  • Hands on technical detailing experience
