Appointment Setter / Customer Relationship Coordinator who has a polite, friendly and helpful telephone manner with good customer service and conversational skills is required to support Financial Advisors in booking appointments for a well-established financial services company based in Birmingham, West Midlands.

NO PREVIOUS FINANCIAL SERVICES OR CORPORATE OFFICE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

If you have previous experience setting appointments, liaising with customers, lead generation, managing diaries and schedules, then great. However, this is not essential as the company will provide full training.

If you’ve previously worked in a customer service or customer facing role such as sales or retail, enjoy working towards targets, have a great attitude and a strong work ethic, then this is the job for you.

SALARY: up to £23,000 per annum + Monthly Bonus up to £500+ Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Hybrid / Flexible working with your time split between working from home and the office in Birmingham, West Midlands (You MUST live within a commutable distance to the office in Birmingham)

The office is close to rail links (0.1 mile from Snowhill and 0.5 Mile from New Street). Free onsite parking

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

The Company is also open to discuss Flexible Working, Job Shares and Part-Time options.

CORE WORKING HOURS: Monday to Wednesday 12pm - 8pm, Thursday 11am - 7pm and Friday 9am - 5pm. NO WEEKENDS

Working as an Appointment Setter / Customer Relationship Coordinator you’ll be responsible for contacting new and existing customers to arrange appointments with the company’s Specialist Financial Advisers.

DUTIES

Your duties as an Appointment Setter / Customer Relationship Coordinator include:

  • Promote services to customers, via both Outbound and Inbound calling, and ensure quality appointments are booked for the Financial Advisers
  • Build strong relationships with your Financial Advisers whilst managing their diaries, resulting in excellent outcomes for both them and customers
  • Evidence strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders via a wide range of channels (Outbound / Inbound calls, email, and web platforms)
  • Ensure outstanding attention to detail in all administration work completed for customers and Financial Advisers
  • With an expectation to deliver to KPI’s each month, ensure you are proactive in managing your own diary and keeping up to date with any business changes. In return, the company provide comprehensive training and outstanding support to enable you to achieve these and set you up for success

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As an Appointment Setter / Customer Relationship Coordinator you will have the following skills and experience:

  • You have some customer interaction experience and are a 'people-person’
  • Experience of meeting targets is advantageous, but not essential
  • You can hold a good conversation and are able to communicate professionally
  • You have a genuine interest in getting into the world of Financial Services
  • You will possess strong attention to detail (your administration needs to be accurate and call conversations need to meet compliance standards)
  • This is a busy role, as such you’ll need to be pro-active (you take initiative!) and have a great work ethic (you give 100%)
