Salary: £35,000 per annum

Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time - 40 hours a week

The role…

As the Applications Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:

• Selection and quotation of products.
• Translate technical requirements into selection of units.
• Prepare cost estimates for new assembly proposals and prepare quotations for presentation.
• Maintenance, trouble shooting and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Create instruction and maintenance manuals.

The experience required…

As a successful Applications Engineer you will have the following:

• HNC in Mechanical Engineering essential.
• Experience translating technical requirements into selection of units.
• Experience preparing cost estimates and quotations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Attention to detail.
