Applications Analyst

£38,000 basic + 10-12% performance-related bonus (up to 15% bonus)
Oxford or London, UK
(3 days onsite per week)

We are working with a leading consultancy providing Economic and Global Financial Analysis, they are seeking a 2nd Line Applications Analyst to join the IT team!

As an Applications Analyst you will support the IT team, reporting to the Senior IT Applications Manager. You will troubleshoot and enhance the application landscape to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • As an Applications Analyst, you’ll troubleshoot application issues.
  • You will manage software implementations.
  • Providing end-user support will be a key responsibility.
  • You’ll assist with IT project delivery.
  • Developing user guides will be part of your duties.
  • Installing and configuring software will be required.
  • Maintain Key Documentation.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, NetSuite, and other relevant software.
  • Strong SQL database knowledge is essential.
  • An understanding of data management and security is required.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with KNIME, Jira, and other software.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • A customer-centric mindset is crucial.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
