Application Support Specialist

Application Support Engineer - London (Hybrid role) - £40K

An exciting opportunity working within a high performing Application Support team. A hybrid role with the option to work remote 4 days with 1 day in the London office. My client is looking for a confident self-starter to provide high level tech support across all applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide incident management to various applications.

- Troubleshoot & diagnose application issues.

- Review & acknowledge alert notifications, escalating where necessary.

- Manage the out of hours deployment of application releases into production environments.

- Become SME for at least one of the core applications used.

- Maintain the application support knowledge base.

- Build constructive relationships with the development, infrastructure and offshore teams.

Key Skills Required

- Microsoft SQL Server and .NET.

- Azure Administration.

- Writing, debugging & scripting in MS Powershell, SQL, Linux/Unix Shell, Bash or other coding language.

- Proven experience installing, configuring, and diagnosing software issues.

- Knowledge of Windows operating systems.

- Experience of deploying & managing applications within a Windows environment.
