Pyramid8 are delighted to be working with our new client based in Manchester. Our client specialises in the Financial Services Sector and are a market leader in their field.

Due to a heavy workload our client is now looking to recruit a full-time Appeals Handler. This role is a fixed term contract for 12 months to work Monday to Friday, (flexible between the hours of 8am-5pm) with Hybrid working.

The role

  • The role involves working within our client’s Appeals Team responding to written appeals for private parking charge notices.
  • Analysing case by case data and collating the relevant written response.
  • You will also be required to operate a customer service phone line to provide advice on how to appeal.

Key Skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and manage your own workload.
  • Good problem solving, critical thinking, reasoning and decision-making skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Speed of thought and decision making.
  • Computer experience - a good understanding of outlook, excel and word is required.
