Animal Welfare Assistant - Kennel Staff

My client are a niche freight forwarder and leading, specialist relocation company looking for an Animal Welfare Assistant to join their busy team. You MUST have at least a Level 3 in Animal Welfare Management or similar and a driving license due to company location.

Daily duties will include:

• Providing daily care to dogs and cats including feeding, watering and monitoring well being
• Engage in playtime and exercising dogs in the paddocks
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kennel area including cleaning kennels
• Ensuring the comfort and safety of animals at all times.
• General admin of paperwork and medical records

Experience needed:

• Previous animal handling experience is a MUST
• Confident working with animals and dogs of all different sizes
• Genuine animal lover
• Physically fit
• Minimum Level 3 qualified in Animal Welfare Management
• MUST have a driving license and own vehicle due to company location

Working hours:

• Day shifts between the hours of 0830am - 1800pm, must be flexible to work weekends too.
