Job Title: Analytical Development Scientist

Type: Initial 12 Month contract

Salary: DOE

Location: Hull, England

SRG is currently working exclusively with a global specialty pharmaceutical company that is dedicated to transforming addiction from a global human crisis to a recognized and treated chronic disease.

As a result of expansion, we are looking for an analytical chemist who will be working in the GMP analytical team, helping develop exciting new and existing projects in the field of addiction therapy.

We are looking for candidates with good knowledge of analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, dissolution, or mass spectrometry. You will have the opportunity to be trained to GMP, and gain experience of the wider company.

Typical responsibilities/accountabilities:

  • Carry out analysis using technologies such as HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, dissolution, and mass spectrometry.
  • Provide Analytical Development support to cross-functional teams
  • Perform analytical testing to maintain the qualification status of reference standards.
  • Learn and perform method development, method validation, process development and verification testing on drug substances

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a life science subject. Apprentice graduates welcome.
  • Good working knowledge of HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, dissolution, and mass spectrometry.
  • A solid understanding on analytical chemistry
